BETTER THAN THE LAST THING I HAVE JUST DONE

We become so wrapped up in ourselves, we begin to think everything we do is because of what we do.  Yet, when we take the time to reflect back, God is the one who makes all things possible.  And He has been there all the time. And each time He does something for us, we marvel at how good He is to us.  Only to find that what He wants for us is even more.

She worries about when that time finally arrives.
She prays for favor and that her new son survives.
Through the struggle and pain she has to endure,
A beautiful son is born; a new life pushes through.
And God says, “The next thing I do for you, My son,
Will be better than the last thing I have just done.”

He’s in with the wrong crowd, his life runs amuck.
He keeps losing ground and is down on his luck.
From the cave’s cold darkness he cries out at last.
And a warm light comes with the fresh wind’s blast.
And God says, “The next thing I do for you, My son,
Will be better than the last thing I have just done.”

He feels that the road gets a little rougher each day.
His son has fallen and he knows not what to say.
The boy’s bound up by all the sin in his heart.
But his prayer is freeing, the bindings come apart.
And God says, “The next thing I do for you, My son,
Will be better than the last thing I have just done.”

A stranger he finds while walking the road of life.
His own life loosely held fighting pain and fighting strife.
The stranger plants a seed of what God holds in store.
The one who had the need held the key to open the door.
And God says, “The next thing I do for you, My son,
Will be better than the last thing I have just done.”

The last day quickly comes and life begins to go.
He reflects on the past and what he has to show.
Then the light begins to come and all is set free.
The glory of the Lord is there for him to see.
And God says, “The next thing I do for you, My son,
Will be better than the last thing I have just done.”

Our February Guyana trip is now in the books.  Due to our grandbaby dedication in DC I was only able to make the last half of the trip. We arrived in Mabaruma on Wednesday and traveled to Wauna where my father in law and I prepared the mission quarters for the rest of the team.
Ministry was conducted in various villages around the Wauna area, sending teams into the villages to conduct men women and children’s ministry during the day and revival services at night. We were also able to build a house for Pastor Nevil, a blind pastor in Poon Creek we built a church building for last year. This man has pioneered at least 4 other churches in the creeks and rivers in the Northwest interior…all while never seeing a day in his life!
I refuse to listen to anyone complain to me about not having anything to do for God! If a blind man can follow the leading of the Lord and plant 4 or 5 churches having to paddle to them in a canoe, we can do what God has called us to do! Especially with the technological advances we have here in the U.S.!
Many were delivered from demons, set free by the mighty power of God! I’m glad we serve a living God, not a dead God! And He still demonstrates His love and power to those who believe!

Thanks to everyone who covered us in prayer during these last couple of weeks. God has helped us to feel your intercession! And without the faithful support of our monthly partners we could not touch the nations we are touching! We have already had three people write to us accepting the Lord Jesus from our Radio Africa Broadcast! Your giving to Revival Now Ministries IS winning souls to the Kingdom of God! Visit our website at http://www.revivalnow.org for our updated schedule and other events taking place in the ministry
Remember: The next thing God does is always greater than the last thing God did!
