August marks our seventh (7) Anniversary of itinerant ministry. Seven years ago I thought our travels would be mainly focused on the Southeast U.S. with an occasional trip to Haiti or Guyana mixed in. I never would have believed we would have the opportunity to travel to Kenya, Indonesia, Trinidad, and then have invitations to preach in many so other countries of the world!

Many other people didn’t believe either!

But here we are, seven years later, still traveling, still seeing God bring revival to remote areas of the U.S. as well as remote areas of the world; still healing sick bodies and still filling people with His Spirit!

I am writing this month’s newsletter as an open thank you. I am writing to say thank you to every pastor who has opened their pulpits to us over the last seven years. Many of the churches we go to, we have been able to develop such a relationship with both the pastor and congregation that we are invited to minister there on a regular basis. Some three to four times a year. One pastor friend kidded me about being on staff at so many different churches! But in reality, many pastors are looking for itinerant ministries they can trust to speak into the life of their local church…to be a confirming word in confusing times! And to be a friend to the pastor and his family; something Pam and I pray constantly for God to use us in this way everywhere we go!

I have come to realize (the hard way) that we are not called to minister in every church. Some places will not receive the anointing and the ministry God has called us to carry. That’s hard to accept by someone who loves everyone and wants to see revival come to all churches; but God has taught me to believe Him to send us where we are celebrated and not where we are tolerated! So again to every pastor who has opened their pulpit to us in the last seven years I want to say again, THANK YOU!

I am writing this to say thank you to all the people who have partnered with us these last seven years. Some have been supporting us the entire seven years we have been traveling! Thank you for believing in us and for believing that we have a word the Body of Christ needs to hear! Whether you partner with us through prayer, through finances or both, your support has been vital for us to get to this point in time with Revival Now Ministries!

Because of your support, we have been able to participate in the planting of 5 different churches across the United States in the last seven years! We continue to provide covering, encouragement and in some cases, financial support to pastors and churches here in the U.S. as well as pastors in Guyana and Kenya. In 2004 we were able to birth WRNK Radio Station in Lanett, Alabama. Your partnership helped us to launch our website and blog page (http://www.revivalnow.org and www.revivaljournal.com) both of which minister to people all over the world 24 hours a day, seven days a week!

I am writing to say thank you to everyone who has taken a mission trip with us over the last seven years! And thank you to everyone who constantly asks, “When’s the next trip I can go on?” That let’s us know, there is a need for people like us to do what we do. Even in transitional times!

I am writing to say thank you to my wife and my family who has stood by my side with prayer and with financial support over the last seven years. It’s one thing for your wife to stand with you. But when your children grow up, marry, and have families and ministries of their own, and they support you, its further confirmation of the assignment God has given you to carry out!

As 2008 marks 30 years of preaching ministry and 7 years of full time itinerant ministry, I can still say I am just as excited and honored that God has called to this work as I was the first day we began! I’m so glad He counted me faithful, putting me in the ministry! I am determined to finish my race with joy; to fight the good fight and complete the assignment He has given us; to hear Him one day say “…well done, good and faithful servant!

Thank you for your help for our recent trip to Indonesia. On this trip, we saw a deaf man instantly healed; dozens of people committed their lives to Jesus; and many churches and pastors were encouraged and strengthened to continue in their field of labor!

Your giving helped us to sow a special offering in an orphanage in Soe, West Timor; you helped us to feed approximately 35 pastors and their wives a special dinner in Bali on our last night of ministry there; you also helped us to be able to bless several pastors with a special offering to meet special needs they had!

As I write this newsletter, I am preparing to board a plane for Guyana where we will partner with a medical team doing a medical and ministry outreach to the Amerindians. On August 17th we will travel again to Kenya East Africa to take part in a pastor’s seminar in Kilgoris, and then we’ll participate in a large Masai conference south of Nairobi where the leaders are anticipating over 10,000 people to be in attendance! If you would like to sow a special seed for the Kenya Pastors Seminar, simply mark your gift “Kenya” and we will make sure it is used to feed these pastors during these days of impartation.

Pam and I never take for granted your giving to this ministry! Thank you for believing in us! And we thank you for allowing us to be your hands and feet to the nations! And most of all, I am thankful that God speaks to people to give and they obey!
Thank you for your obedience to the leading of the Lord!

Blessings,
David & Pam
