The Resurrection Sunday Celebrations of this past month were in my opinion the greatest the Church has had in years! In fact, the Spirit spoke to my heart the week preceding Easter Sunday and told me this would be the most significant Easter Sunday in my lifetime! Starting two weeks before Easter, the Holy Spirit began to draw me into prayer stronger than I have felt in some time. I pray all the time, but there was something that changed…significantly for the better!
From all the reports I have received from across the country, this year’s Easter attendance was greater than it has been in years. Also, the number of decisions made to follow Jesus is significantly higher than in years past! We are truly in the time of Harvest! What’s going on?
The economy is opening people’s eyes. While many national editorials report church attendance has declined 11% since 1990, yet everywhere Pam and I go crowds are larger than they have been in those churches before. People are hurting economically and they are beginning to realize the god of mammon will never meet the needs they have for true inner peace! God is awakening a hunger and thirst for Him!
World- wide political problems are getting people’s attention. In March at House of Prayer Church of God, Oxford Alabama, while I was preaching the Holy Spirit prompted me to say “…in the next few days you will begin to hear chatter about a one world currency to replace the US dollar as the benchmark currency of the world…” The next day, China issued a call for a new one world currency to replace the dollar as the bench mark currency because the dollar (in China’s words) is “too unstable”. The one world monetary system is ready to be set in place! The anti-Christ is at the door! And if the man of sin is at the door, then the Christ, the Anointed One and His Anointing is at the door also!
God is opening the door for the next Great Awakening. Just recently at Watts Bar Church of God in Decatur, Tennessee as the Holy Spirit was moving strongly during the worship time the Spirit spoke to me and told me He was giving that local church a new open door! But I also began to sense it’s not just for one particular church or organization, this open door is for whosoever is willing to walk through it!
This month I had the opportunity to be at a retirement dinner for a retiring minister. A video was shown with all the pastor’s kids commenting and congratulating him on his years of ministry and how they were looking forward to spending time with him now that he was “retiring” (we know preachers never really retire, they just re-fire!). The last clip was from a Star Trek movie in which the captain had a glazed over look in his eyes and was speaking to his crew and made this statement that is ringing in my spirit: “…there is something else out there; let’s go find it!”
I’m not looking for another Jesus! But there is something through this open door of the Spirit God is giving us! I’ve got to go find it! John 14:12 has not been completely fulfilled! (greater works than these will you do…) Jesus prayer in John 17 has not been fulfilled! But it is being fulfilled; by people who are willing to walk through the open door!
Walk on through the door! There is a new and fresh anointing!

Our first Friday Night Fire Revival meeting was a tremendous success! Almost 70 people were in attendance and the Holy Ghost Fire showed up with…fire!! Thanks to everyone who took part and especially for those who worked to help us coordinate the night!
