As we enter the Thanksgiving & Christmas Holiday season, Pam and I are extremely grateful for all the friends and partners God has connected us to around the world. 2021 marked the twentieth year of traveling ministry as well as the forty-third year of total ministry for us. In spite of the drama surrounding the Covid pandemic that has affected our schedule and our outreaches, it hasn’t stopped the Revival Now ministry from continuing around the world.
I am thankful for the opportunity to travel to the nations to preach the Gospel, to touch pastors & leaders in rural areas with hope & encouragement. I am thankful God has given us the mandate to reach, teach, train & release men and women into their God ordained assignments.
I am thankful God has always and continues to supply all our needs according to His riches in Glory, by Christ Jesus.
I am thankful for all our partners who continue to stand with us as we navigate the changes and fresh strategies God is birthing in our hearts for this next season. Pam and I are thankful for our Board of Directors, and our other advisors who speak into our lives on a regular basis, providing encouragement and accountability for the direction of our lives and this ministry God has called us to.
I am thankful for all the pastors across the United States who have opened their doors to us to minister to and serve local congregations here in our own country. God IS doing something fresh for His people, and the hunger & thirst in people’s lives is drawing the Holy Spirit to move in our meetings here at home.
I am thankful for our Revival Now Kenya staff that has persevered and continued the work while we have not been able to travel abroad. I am thankful that God willing, we will be able to travel back to Kenya for two Schools of Ministry in December. I am also thankful for the partnership between Revival Now & AEGA Ministries International that will license & ordain ministers in Kenya as well as allow the Revival Now Schools of Ministry in Kenya to offer degrees to ministerial students in the coming years.
I am thankful for God connecting us with the Hope Centre Children’s Home in Nyangusu/Kilgoris, Kenya where we currently have twenty-seven of the most beautiful children you have ever laid eyes on. They are receiving nutritious food, adequate clothing, healthcare, education, and love, training them to be productive citizens, and raising them to be mighty men & women of God that will touch the nations for Jesus Christ.
I am thankful for the AEGA Fellowship we are ordained with. They have always treated us as family and have been a great source of encouragement for many years now. This year, they also chose me to be ordained as a Bishop in their fellowship, which is an honor I was not expecting nor was I seeking for at all.
I am thankful for the Revival Now Ministry Network, a network of churches, ministers, ministries, pastors and other five-fold ministers who fellowship together several times per year. Many of these ministries also look to Pam & I and Revival Now to serve as their spiritual covering or as a spiritual father & mother to them. Some are actually affiliated with other groups, but they have such a hunger to see God move in their area they are willing to reach and work across denominational lines to see revival come to our nation!
I am thankful for our daughters and sons in law that are raising our grandchildren to live for Jesus and to find their purpose and assignment in life. I am so proud of our grandchildren for surrendering their hearts to Jesus and several of them have already traveled with us to serve at the Hope Centre Children’s Home, where they have become quite famous among the children there.
I am also very thankful for God bringing Pam into my life who loves to serve with me in the Gospel. It has not been an easy road for either of us, but it has been so rewarding. She has battled chronic pain in her back for over ten years now, sometimes so intense she just sits and cries. But she refuses to stop traveling when she can and pouring into women & children’s lives around the world.
Most of all, I am very thankful to our God who has counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry. He has opened doors for us only He could open and touched people’s lives through this ministry without us even knowing it. The surprise blessings on hearing how God has ministered to people through Revival Now, people who we didn’t even know were watching our lives, has been one of the biggest blessings of all.
These are not the only things I am thankful for this Thanksgiving season; these are all I have space to write about. Thank you for taking this journey with us. Whether it’s through financial support, purchasing our books, supporting a pastor to attend the Kenya Schools of Ministry, supporting the construction and children at Hope Centre, attending our meetings around the United States, or simply praying for me and Pam, you have made us a blessed couple. Thank you for believing in us and…....Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving & Merry Christmas!
