Psalms 33:18Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear Him, upon them that hope in His mercy, 19 to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
Psalms 37:19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
These two scriptures resound in my spirit! In the words of Charles Dickens, these are the best of times and these are the worst of times!
Gas prices skyrocketing, food prices exploding, the mortgage industry collapsing, businesses closing and an election cycle in which no candidate has a clear vision on which direction America needs to go. All point to a fulfillment of Paul’s words to Timothy that in the last days perilous times shall come…
But we have a hope that is a sure anchor for our soul! His name is Jesus!
God has promised that through worldly recession or plagues, nothing shall die that belongs to us.

No dream, no vision, no promise, no marriage, no business, no promotion or opportunity shall die.

You didn’t get the dream, position or call by yourself and neither will you carry it alone.  RIGHT NOW, there is a distinction between you and those that oppose you. God has made a distinction of blessing upon your house, position, business and ministry.

You and I are not like everyone else.  We are not subject to the prognosis and economic fears of the world.  The favor of God is our X-factor in the marketplace as well as in our ministries.

In Fact, in times of famine and recession God has promised that He’s going to give us some things that we don’t deserve.

He’s going to help us accomplish some things in this season that we aren’t smart enough, great enough or strong enough to succeed or do on our own.

That means we will possess some things that we are not qualified for because God has a hidden agenda for us in this season of time.  He has a hidden agenda for you to be in that position, industry, ministry and region.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.  Don’t think that He will require anything less than He has required from previous generations.  Unlike some politicians, His agenda for nations does not change over time.  He still calls us to drive out the enemies and generational curses greater and stronger than we are; to do things that men believe are impossible.

God wants to cause all those who doubted and rejected you to recognize and know there is none like Him in all the earth.  He wants millions to fear and tremble because of all the good and all the peace, prosperity, security, and stability He provides for you.

In times of famine, we shall be satisfied!

That means that sometimes God has to allow doors to close so he can kick down other doors you would not have seen had you gone in that direction you wanted.  He does this to teach you how to show others to patiently wait for the same.

And He blesses us in times of famine to increase our trust in Him, and to increase our addiction to His Spirit!

In times of famine, we SHALL be satisfied!

Because the next thing God does is always greater than the last thing God did!

MINISTRY UPDATE

The last seven weeks we have seen the greatest surge of the Holy Spirit since we began traveling full time seven years ago! Every service has been packet with conviction and with a tremendous drawing of the Holy Ghost to get closer to Jesus!

I want to thank Beauregard Revival Center in Opelika Alabama and Tabernacle of Praise in Bedford Indiana for their sensitivity to the leading of the Spirit as well as their willingness to follow the Lord in extended times of meeting together! Only heaven will reveal everything that was accomplished during our times together!

I also want to thank again all the pastors who worked with us to reschedule our dates due to revival breaking out in these churches. What we make happen for others, God will make happen for us!

Thank you for your faithful support of Revival Now Ministries. Times are very stressful for everyone. High gas prices and other problems with the economy have taken its toll on ministries like ours as well all of us individually. Your continued support is helping us reach the nations of the world as well as the United States of America!

Thank you, for your faithful support of Revival Now Ministries! Your gifts are 100% tax deductible. And 100% appreciated by the people you are helping us go minister to!

Blessings,

David & Pam
