God continues to amaze me with His goodness and mercy in our travels around the world. Our April Kenya outreach was once again marked with a distinct Presence of God that cannot be explained in words.
The 2015 Kilgoris Women’s Conference was led by Pastor Edith Carlin & Dana Myers of Glory of God Worship Center, Denham Springs, Louisiana. Over 100 women from across the region packed into a small room at the Kilgoris Girls School for three days of heaven on earth. They even allowed me to minister to them twice! Many women received the Holy Spirit Baptism including a Seventh Day Adventist lady who also joined the School of Ministry the next week, still glowing from her encounter with Jesus. She will definitely never be the same again!
The April session of the Revival Now School of Ministry saw over 130 pastors & leaders attend with 118 registering for the opportunity of receiving the Certificate of Participation in December. We are still awaiting the final clearance and the Certificate of Ministry from the Kenya Government that will allow us to give Diplomas (instead of Certificates) to the students who complete the required courses for recognition.
In 2014 we established the Trans Africa Bible College, the degree level training for students in SW Kenya who desire to receive advanced recognition for their ministerial studies. Currently there are over 40 students registered in the degree program in Kilgoris. We are in the process of finalizing all the different components that are needed to move this part of the ministry forward. We also have some students in the degree program that could use assistance with tuition. If you are interested in helping Scholarship a Pastor/Leader for any of our trainings either Basic Training or Degree level, send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
A highlight of the trip was the dedication of the land as the future home of the Nyaisero Orphanage. We have completed the purchase of two acres on the border of Maasai-land & Kisii-land that will become the training center for future generations of orphan children. Special thanks to Restoration House Salem Alabama, New Life Assembly Moulton Alabama and First Assembly Rosenberg Texas for helping us in Phase One of this project.
There is much discussion in the news over the turmoil and riots in Baltimore, Maryland. It has been stated that one of the causes of the inner city poverty and hopelessness in our country is the lack of fathers present in young people’s lives. This is not just an issue in the United States. This seems to be a problem in every nation of the World. Government will never be able to create a program that will make fathers be a part of their children’s lives. When the true Spirit of Christ touches the lives of men, they will take responsibility for their children to help raise them and guide them in life. May Malachi 4:4-6 be fulfilled in my lifetime!
While these are very disturbing and trying times, these are NOT hopeless days. Just today I was reading in Luke 12 this passage:
Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are you better than the fowls? Luke 12:24 KJV
Under the Old Testament law, a raven was considered an unclean or a “dirty bird”. Yet God cares for them…feeds them…provides for them.
You are not a dirty bird. You are a Child of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. You are much more important that any bird, or flower or grass of the field. Whatever you are facing today that has pushed you to your limit, push it into the hands of Jesus!
How much more important are you than a bird?
Important enough for the Father to send His Son and pay the price for you to know Him.
Thank you for your prayers and financial support of Revival Now’s International Outreaches.
Still Walking in the Blessings of the Reusrrection,
David & Pam
