We have just completed our 2015 Winter Conference in East Alabama at The Bridge Church with Pastors Bill & Debbie Bryan. To God be ALL the Glory for the anointing that was released, encouragement that was given, and the equipping that was received by people. Thank you Pastor Bill and The Bridge family for all the hard work to make this weekend a defining moment.

Please mark your calendars now for our 2015 Summer Conference in Lagrange Georgia:

Our hearts have been broken by the recent pictures and reports from the Middle East about the 21 Christians who were beheaded in Libya a few weeks ago. Just today as I write this newsletter, reports of up to 90 more Christians have been kidnapped in Syria; their whereabouts and the future still unknown.

The Bible plainly has told us the major marker of the last days would be a tremendous increase in persecution. In fact John 16 tells us they will do this thinking they are doing it for “God”.

On a recent Friday Fire I talked about another major marker of the last days and it comes in the form of what I call a mocking spirit.

2 Peter 3:3 “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”

WE understand the persecution from the world. I completely understand the hatred islam still has for Christians. They were born with it. (Read Genesis 16 for the explanation of what is happening in the world now). They will never stop killing, stealing or destroying until they rule the world for Mohammed, or Jesus Himself stops them (which He will eventually do). We ARE in a holy war with radical Islamic terrorists. It’s important for God’s people to remember this war will not be won with conventional military weapons. (God will use governments to fight them militarily) but prayer and supplication will win this war and cause truth and righteousness to prevail!

But when the persecution comes from other members of the body of Christ, how do we handle that? What do we do when the mocking spirit comes from other believers?

1.Refuse to accommodate their spirit of offense. Many people that are saying “where is the promise of His coming” are suffering from what I call prophetic disappointments. They have a promise, a word form the Lord that has either died, or it is taking too long to come to pass. Don’t let people trap you with their offense.

2.Purpose to walk in unconditional love. Love still covers a multitude of sins. In all reality they may not be angry with you, they are probably angry with God. Love people where they are and take note: you may have been in places also when you thought God had delayed His coming, or the fulfillment of His promises in your life. Many of us have been ticked off at God at some point in our lives.

3.Don’t allow their misunderstanding of their current season drag you into their offense. Seasons change. Circumstances cannot stay the same forever. Miracles happen. God answers prayer! Angels WILL move on our behalf!

And our God IS the God of all hope.

Don’t let the mocking spirit that is on TV, in politics, in the workplace, and yes, in the church; don’t allow that spirit to distract your eyes off the prize: an eternity with Jesus!

Ministry Update

April 13th I will depart again for Kenya East Africa for our 2015 Kilgoris Women’s Conference as well as the April Session of the Revival Now School of Ministry. We are expanding our ministry trips there in 2015 and we need your help to accomplish our part of the Great Commission. We are planning to add a School of Ministry to Lodwar in Northern Kenya sometime this year as well as an outreach to Tanzania, Homa Bay and possibly Malava in NW Kenya.

Your giving is very appreciated to help us fulfill our part of the Great Commission!

Many Blessings!
David & Pam
