I am in a clique.
I have been accepted into God’s inner circle. Ephesians 1:6 “…he has made us accepted in the beloved.”
Everyone likes being accepted. In fact, I don’t care how cocky you think you are or how many times you say you don’t need anyone to accept you…no one likes being abused, rejected and pushed away.
It’s a wonderful thing when someone confides in us. It makes us feel honored when someone shares things with us that we know they have not shared with anyone.
Being accepted into people’s inner circle.
That’s exactly what Jesus did with His death and resurrection.
His sacrifice on Calvary not only paid for the damages our sin has done to our lives, to society and the earth, it also opened the door for God to accept us into God’s inner circle.
We are in God’s group of confidants. His friends. By the Blood of Jesus we are now FAMILY that will know things…hear things…and experience things other people will never get to experience.
Megan & Missy know things that no one else knows about Pam and I. The Good. The Bad. And yes, even some ugly. What gives them that right?
By being our children. Having favor with Mom & Dad. And being accepted into mine & Pam’s inner circle. We tell things to them we will never tell another living soul.
We are in God’s clique. Being accepted into God’s inner circle is an aspect of favor that all God’s children have. But do we utilize it? Here’s what happens when we realize we are a part of God’s clique:
1.Being in God’s inner circle will allow us to hear things the world will never hear!
Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.
Deuteronomy 29:29 “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law. Being in God’s inner circle allows the spirit of wisdom & revelation to flow into our lives in a greater measure.
2.Being in God’s clique allows us access to Him without the fear of rejection.
John 6:37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. This can also be rendered, all who comes to Him He will not push away.
Because of the rejection we have faced from family, spouses, and even close friends, it’s hard for us to grasp the fact that God loves us so much, He sent Jesus to pay the price for us to be included in His inner circle!
This was all accomplished to praise the Glory of HIS grace. I am thankful for grace. I have had an understanding of it for many years. But He keeps showing me on a daily basis I have yet to fully understand this marvelous phenomenon called grace.
Grace not a license to sin, grace is a freedom to NOT sin. Favor is not something you buy or manipulate; favor is granted to you because of Who you belong to. Being in this clique helps me daily lay down my life so I can inherit His.
I’m thankful for the family and friends I have all over the world. I am grateful for the Angels who camp out all around me because I have the fear of the Lord in my heart. But I have found something even greater than Angels, family and friends: the Glory of HIS Grace!
Look for God to speak to you today. Expect favor to go in front of you; and look for the Glory of God to follow you wherever you go. This is not being arrogant or cocky:
It’s all because you are a member of God’s clique.
Ministry News:
On April 7, I will travel again to Kenya East Africa for the first of four different outreach trips scheduled for 2013. Our plans are to conduct our first Pastors Training in Lodwar Northern Kenya April 11-13; then April 15-24 we will lead the April Session of the Maasai Vocational Leaders Training; April 25-28 we will minister in Isiolo in Central Kenya conducting an outreach with several local churches there.
Your giving is vital in helping us to continue to fulfill our part of the Great Commission. God is opening many doors for this ministry. Thank you for listening to the Holy Spirit and being part of the team. Many souls are being credited to your account in heaven!
