I’m sitting in London during one of our famous nine-hour layovers back to Atlanta, and I am almost weeping with joy over what I’ve seen God do during our June East Africa Outreach. In fact people at Heathrow Airport are looking at me somewhat strange…

Two weeks ago we embarked on our first journey into Northern Tanzania. We ministered in the village of Esoit Sambu, just across the Kenya border from the Masaai Mara Reserve. Because this group of Masaai live in such a remote area, I can understand why they feel cut off from the rest of the world. They have very few visitors come through this region and because of that, it was obvious the townspeople didn’t know if they wanted us there or not.

But throughout the services, God did NOT disappoint! God’s people in the area received us with open arms and willing hearts. Many were saved, healed and filled with the Holy Spirit. So many responded that we lost count of the number. That doesn’t matter because God knows the number.

I knew beforehand there would be a cry for our rural pastors training to come there and I was correct. Many of these pastors never attended primary school, much less a Bible School. God has miraculously taught most of them how to read by reading the Masaai Bible. As we met on Sunday afternoon for almost three hours discussing the plans for a pastors training and what it would entail, I kept sensing Holy Spirit say “…are you going to do something, or are you content to let other religions move in and teach them their doctrine?” (Which they are ready to do).

We are making plans to bring some of these pastors to Kilgoris in August to look over what we do there and see if it is definitely something we need to pursue.  Please pray for us that God will give us wisdom and also that He will release the needed resources for this expansion. Because it will be more costly for me to go three times per year, we are already planning on sending some of our Kenya brethren across to do the bulk of the teaching, and I will simply travel across once or twice a year.

Last week we traveled back across into Kenya for the 4th Kilgoris Interdenominational Conference. Almost 100 people gave their lives to Jesus in these meetings held on the grounds of the Kilgoris Church of God. Thank you to Bishop Benson Shabanji who graciously asked to be able to host the meeting.

Over 140 pastors & leaders attended the Wednesday – Saturday sessions. Holy Spirit Fire fell on Saturday as we concluded the meeting with several lay leaders receiving the Holy Spirit Baptism. I was honored (and strengthened) to be able to teach the two morning sessions, plus the afternoon outdoor meeting each day. I know it’s easy for some people to say, “something shifted”; but that’s exactly what I sensed happened this week.

If there has ever been a time we need to stand for the WORD it’s today. If there is ever a day in which we MUST pursue the mandate of GOD on our lives it’s NOW! Every week I get called out and chastised for spending so much time & money in Kenya and other countries, when the United States needs such a move of God herself. But when you travel to these remote areas and see the hunger and thirst for God…people literally hanging on every word you say, you would understand why we do what we do. Plus, as I’ve told several people, Jesus called me and told me to go: and I didn’t have the guts to tell Him no!

I do believe God has another awakening for the United States.  But it will come at a price. And I’m not sure America is ready just yet to pay the price of giving up her selfishness to experience it.

We are going to be digging for Fresh Living Water July 17-19 at the 2015 Revival Now Summer Conference, at Heart of Worship in Lagrange Georgia. Make plans to join us Friday – Sunday that weekend as we seek the Lord, enjoy the preaching & teaching of the Word as well as give a full report on our International Outreaches. The Summer Conference has become a major highlight of mine & Pam’s year as we gather with friends and partners in the Presence of Jesus.  You can also check our schedule for a complete listing of services we will be ministering across the U.S. on our website http://revivalnow.org.

I cannot thank our partners enough for believing in us and being willing to sow into our outreaches in Kenya & Tanzania. Your giving has also helped Pam keep things running smoothly while I’m gone. Because of your prayers and faithful giving, literally thousands were touched over the last two weeks and brought into a greater measure of the Kingdom…for such a time as this.

Enjoy the Summer!
