We arrived in Nairobi on Wednesday, November 27th, to begin our final Kenya outreach for 2024. After traveling to Kilgoris on Thursday, November 28th, we visited Hope Centre Children’s Home on Friday and had our regular meal together. We also honored the recent High School graduates and all the students who had birthdays in October, November, and December.

On Saturday, November 30th, we led the first Annual General Meeting of Revival Now Ministries International Kenya, at which we appointed associate leaders to the positions of Vice-Chairman, Vice-Secretary, Vice-Treasurer, National Women’s Director, and National Youth Director. On Sunday, we closed the Annual Conference with a message from Ecclesiastes 4 on The Call To Unity.

Shepherd’s Hope Training Centre – Kilgoris began on Monday, December 2nd, with classes on Acts Part 1, Authority of the Believer, Names & Character of God, Gospel of John, and our degree classes on Advanced Biblical Prosperity and Ministerial Ethics. Friday, December 6th, graduated 75 leaders from the Certificate & Diploma Level. We were also honored to oversee the conferring of degrees to 15 students who constitute the first degree-level graduation from Shepherd’s Hope Training Centre in Kilgoris. All degrees are conferred through our partnership with Evangel Christian University of America based in Monroe, Louisiana.

On Saturday, December 7th, we traveled to Narok to begin the process again. After ministering at a brand-new church plant on Sunday morning, I was asked to be the keynote speaker at the Narok Bishops & Pastors Fellowship Thanksgiving Service that afternoon. As I preached to over 200 people (mainly pastors, leaders, and government representatives), the presence of God fell on the soccer stadium grounds, and people repented and recommitted their lives and ministries to the Lord to take the mountain of their promises.

On Monday, December 9th, we began the Narok Shepherd’s Hope Training Centre classes with over 100 students in attendance. We have had many challenges getting the Narok School off the ground, but to God be the Glory, it is increasing in attendance and momentum. Word is circulating around the region, and Pastors and bishops are sending their young ministers to be trained by us. The second Narok Graduation was held on Friday, December 13th, with 80 students moving to the next level with a certificate or diploma of Theology.

I never dreamed the Lord would ask me to train pastors and leaders from across the African continent. I say asked because I could have said no, but I’m glad I didn’t. In 2000, God began to put it in my heart to mentor, train, and release young men and women into the Gospel Ministry. I know God is the one who calls you and ordains you to the ministry. No one can “un-ordain” or disqualify you when He ordains you. I also knew then there was a huge need to help men & women find their stream of ministry the Father has called them to, without making the same mistakes that I have made in my own life.

Since 2010, Revival Now International has seen over 1600 pastors and leaders from across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda pass through our training. This Sunday, they will impact well over 75,000 people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That may not be as much as what some others have accomplished, but this makes my eyes leak happy tears because I know God Himself has accomplished this!

As we end 2024 and get a fresh start in 2025, would you consider joining this great crowd of witnesses who are helping us teach and transform young ministers by giving them basic Bible training that will empower them to reach thousands with the gospel message?

We would love to have your help in the coming year as we continue the Shepherd’s Hope Training Classes in Kenya and the Revival Now School of Ministry in Valley, Alabama. Reaching, Training, Equipping, Releasing. Till the whole world knows Jesus is LORD!

February 8-16, 2025, we are leading a team of workers back to Hope Centre Children’s Home to paint the portion of our security wall that we currently have completed. If you have ever wanted to travel to Kenya and do some “hands-on labor,” this is your opportunity. Contact Megan Hayslip at 706-773-8754 for details about this trip. It’s not too late to join us!!
