Isaiah 54:2,3
“Enlarge the place of your tent,
And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings;
Do not spare;
Lengthen your cords,
And strengthen your stakes.
3 For you shall expand to the right and to the left,
And your descendants will inherit the nations,
And make the desolate cities inhabited.”
As you receive this month’s newsletter we are currently in the middle of our December Outreach to Kenya. Missionaries Tim Williams and Jerry Noblitt have joined me on this trip to Kenya for ministry. I know without a doubt God is going to use them in a mighty way to speak to hearts during this campaign.
On Friday & Saturday December 4 & 5, we will take part in the Kilgoris Assembly of God Family Life Conference with Bishop Jackson Mongaine. Excitement for ministry to the family has increased here and we are trusting that God will restore marriages and heal homes as a result of this meeting.
This weekend we will visit our kids at Nyaisero Orphanage near Ogembo. Pastor Esther and her husband Phillip continue to lead this ministry with a great heart of love. I want to thank Sanctuary of Praise Church in Midland City Alabama for providing a small Christmas package for each one of the students.
Monday – Friday December 7-12 will be the December session of the Revival Now School of Ministry in Kilgoris. Saturday December 12th we will host the annual Certificate Ceremony for those students moving up to the next level of study. We will be posting pictures of all our events here in Kenya on Facebook and by email. If you have not signed up to receive our email Newsletter, please do so on our homepage http://revivalnow.org. This will help you stay up to date on happenings in the ministry we are not able to write about in our regular newsletter. Also, find us on Facebook by simply searching for Revival Now International or David Copeland. You will see mine & Pam’s picture there.
2016 is already shaping up to be even busier in Kenya than this year. We are approaching the final stages of the registration of the ministry in Kenya that will allow us to expand the School of Ministry into other locations as well as well as serve the larger Body of Christ across Kenya, and eventually all of East Africa.
In 2016 we are asking God to help us begin building a dormitory on the two acres of property now owned by Nyaisero Orphanage, to provide suitable living conditions for these 60 orphan young people. I have been remembering recently the first time we visited them how they were so heartbroken and discouraged. Over time God has enabled us in partnership with Tim Williams and Healing Hands International to bring a measure of healing in their lives, move them into a bigger facility and buy a milk cow that helps provide milk on a daily basis. So in the coming year, we are asking God to help us complete the building of their own space on their own property so they won’t have to move again until they leave for college or for adulthood.
In 2016 we will also be conducting Pastors & Leaders Conferences and Outreach meetings in Malava (Western Kenya), Lodwar, Kilgoris and again in Tanzania. We are also continuing to lead the Revival Now School of Ministry in April, August & December next year.
Pam and I are also excited to be a part of the Great Awakening God is bringing to the United States in 2016! All of this takes an incredible amount of prayer, infrastructure and finances both here and abroad.
Thank you to everyone who has sown into Revival Now in 2015. Thank you for hearing God’s voice to come along side Pam and I in our part of the Great Commission. This time of year many people look for ministries and organizations that are making an impact for the betterment of humanity in order to sow a special end of the year love gift. Would you consider Revival Now International in your year-end giving? I promise your gift will be used wisely, with honor and respect and it is tax deductible. It is ALWAYS needed and appreciated!
Pam and I are convinced when you raise the level of understanding and anointing for rural pastors, they will begin to lead their nations in renewal and recovery. When you bless and care for an orphan and a widow, you are blessing people who are very near and dear to the heart of God.
Thank you for every penny you have given to help us touch, equip, encourage and empower rural leaders. And thank you for helping us touch the lives of some forgotten children in SW Kenya.
Pray that the Lord of the Harvest will continue to send us as laborers into His Harvest.
