In this month’s newsletter, I want to take this opportunity to thank every friend and partner of Revival Now International for your faithful prayers and the financial support you have given us over the last twenty-four and one-half years of outreach to the nations.
Your giving has helped us touch thousands of people around the world, travel to over twenty-two different countries to preach the Gospel and teach and train over 1,350 pastors and leaders through our Schools of Ministry in Kenya alone. We have conducted leadership events and crusades across Kenya, Tanzania, Mexico, Nicaragua, Guyana, Venezuela, Indonesia, Honduras, Pakistan, and many other nations, with opportunities to expand to other nations.
Your giving has helped us build and develop the Hope Centre Children’s Home in Nyangusu, Kenya, and it continues to help us educate, train, and care for the twenty-seven orphans at Hope Centre. We are completing the first phase of our security wall at Hope Centre, and we are looking forward to sponsoring our Annual Hope Centre VBS (which has been renamed the Hope Centre Youth Camp) this June 2024. We are also awaiting word on purchasing two additional acres surrounding Hope Centre that will enable us to expand the ministry outreach to our orphans there.
One of the greatest joys of my life has been planting the Revival Now Schools of Ministry, which has been renamed Shepherd’s Hope Training Centre. We began in April 2010 with twenty-six students, and now, as we mark the beginning of our fourteenth year of service to the men and women of Kenya, we are anticipating even greater opportunities to come before us.
Just today, our National Director, Bishop John Kaila, called and informed me Maasai Mara University has asked us to collaborate with them on several projects that would be of benefit to both the students at Shepherd’s Hope and to the students of Maasai Mara University to help bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the principles of God’s Word to those students. Upon completing this month’s Narok Class, we will participate in a special prayer and dedication service at Maasai Mara University on April 27th to see this new opportunity to move forward.
You can still participate in our ongoing pastor’s training in Kenya. $50 will sponsor one pastor or leader to attend either the Kilgoris or the Narok classes. While inflation is tremendously high in Kenya (just like it is here at home), we are doing our best to keep our expenses for these classes to a minimum. We would love for you to consider helping us with the Schools on a regular basis.
Revival Now International Ministries Kenya is growing rapidly each week. In April, we will hold two ordinations in Narok for some pastors whose churches are growing and impacting different areas of the city. We currently have over 60 churches affiliated with Revival Now Kenya, with almost 80 pastors we have ordained in the last few years. We also have at least seven churches that are begging for some type of church structure as their congregation is meeting either under a tree or out in the open.
It is currently costing a little over $5,000 US dollars to build a 20x40 structure with a cement floor and a few chairs and benches to get them started. Some churches could sponsor a complete church structure. Maybe your church or ministry can’t afford to build a complete facility, but you are willing to partner with another church or two to help complete a project. If you are interested in helping sponsor a church structure in Kenya, email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address), and we will get started!
And, of course, we are spending at least sixty percent of our time here in the United States, traveling to churches in our country and believing with local congregations for revival and renewal to come to their area and our nation. We have the great privilege of serving as an overseer of many churches and ministries across the United States, as well as serving as the Director of Foreign Affairs for AEGA Ministries in Monroe, Louisiana. In October, we will be traveling to Accra, Ghana, West Africa to attend the next AEGA Summit as we continue to plan other ways to teach and train pastors and leaders across the African continent.
I don’t have time to mention fully our TV and media outreach, which we also do through YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.
All this ministry takes money. I am grateful for every ministry that utilizes every opportunity to spread the Gospel. Partners, we are so grateful for your help and support, and we continue to pledge to you that we will be good stewards of what you put in our hands for the nations of the world.
What you help us make happen for others, God will make happen for you.
