2008 Ministry Update

I want to take some time this month to update you on some happenings within the ministry that we don’t normally talk about in this venue. By the time some of you receive this month’s newsletter we will be on our way back to Guyana South America where we will be spending several days with a team from all over the southeast ministering to the Amerindians.

We are continuing our partnership with World Harvest Missions from Lake Worth Florida, traveling three times a year into the remote areas of the Northwest portion of Guyana. We feel like God is stirring us to expand the ministry there in Guyana. I have told Miriam that I can see teams of people going into the interior on a monthly basis. The need is there. The cry from the people is there. God just has to release the man power and resources to see this take place!  Please pray with us about this and if you are ever interested in taking a trip into the jungle that will absolutely change your life, please contact us!

As all of you know, the majority of our ministry is aimed at revitalizing and equipping the local churches in the United States to see the move of the Holy Spirit that Joel prophesied in Joel 2 and that Peter echoed in Acts 2:17. 90% of these churches are very small in number, and your faithfulness to give enables us to go into areas here in the US others won’t go. Since the beginning of the year we have seen a marked increase in the anointing in our services. People seem to be hungrier. More pastors have been leading their congregations in 21 Days of Fasting and Prayer; and the results are already evident!

Recently in Samson, Alabama at New Life Worship Center, the Glory of God seemed to hover over the services every night! In a little town named Grove Hill Alabama many testified of healings that took place and many were filled with the Holy Spirit on the last night of the revival!

What blessed me the most was on the last night as Pam and I sat on the front row waiting for the service to start, a young girl between 5-7 years of age said to me “Bro. David, do you know what happened to me last night?” She said, “I gave my life to Jesus!” PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!

God spoke to me last fall and told me He was sending a visitation especially among children, youth and young adults! We are already seeing it take place! In every service we have been a part of since January 1st, the altars have been filled with people, the vast majority of them children, youth and young adults, seeking for and crying out to God to save their loved ones and their friends and to send revival to their area!

I want to thank again all the churches and individuals who sowed a special seed into our December 2007 Kenya outreach. Your sowing enabled us to help feed over 3500 people three good meals a day in both the village of Sabatia as well as in the village of Kilgoris at the 5th Annual Masai Convention. We have invitations to return to Kenya twice in 2008; once in August to conduct a pastor’s conference, and later to again participate in the Masai Convention. Please pray for Kenya! As many of you have seen on the news the country have been plunged into chaos by the recent election that was held on December 27th. Many Christians have lost their lives and have been displaced by the demonstrations; many of the rioters are people who are simply looking to take advantage of a situation to wreck havoc in the country and keep things in what I call “riot mode”. Pray for the peace of Kenya as you pray also for the peace of Jerusalem!

In 2008 we will also be moving forward with the Revival Now/Alliance Network of Ministries. This is a venture of Revival Now that God has been dealing with me about for several years to pursue. This network will simply exist to provide relational and missional fellowship opportunities for people of all denominations and fellowships who desire to see the power of the Holy Spirit poured out in our life time!

You giving to Revival Now Ministries in the last six years has also helped us to participate in the planting of three churches right here in the U.S. See, your giving is not simply going overseas, your giving is also helping us reach communities, and provide opportunities for men and women to function in their calling right here in the United States!

I believe America’s best days are right now! The opportunities to serve God and do a work for Him are endless! But we can only do what you partner with us to do! Thank you for your giving! Thank you for believing in what God has called us to do!
