Weekend Thoughts October 25, 2010

Sunday services were off the chain in a small community named Grutli Laager Tennessee at the Grutli Church of God. Pastors Willard and Sheila Griffin have been in Grutli five years and God is using them to bring a mighty visitation to that church as well as to Grundy County Tennessee.

In keeping with the rambling thoughts of professional bloggers (of which I don't think I qualify) here are some thoughts of mine for anyone interested:

October is Pastors Appreciation Month. I am thankful to all the local churches that have and will honor their pastors and their families this month. These men and women of God sacrifice greatly for their congregations around the world. While the big churches do great in compensating and honoring their pastors, the smaller church pastors are the one's in the trenches and are committed to flying under the radar to complete their assignment because they know God has called them to that city.

I am thankful to the pastors and churches that also remembered us for Pastors Appreciation. Because we travel all the time, one small church blessed Pam and I with a bunch of gift card to some restaurants. When we opened the card, we cried that someone would remember us in that way! And it's going to save us about $250.00 in eating expenses over the next month! Sweet.

I'm getting amped about our next Kenya trip November 30- December 12. I am very grateful God has called us to work alongside the Maasai people in Kenya. Now if I had about $250,000.00 I could get started on everything that needs to be done there. The address is on the top left of this blog.

There are many churches in the United States that are experiencing or are beginning to experience a special visitation from God. I'm thankful for what He is doing with us in Kenya; and I'm grateful He has not forgotten about the United States!

What if we live to see a judgment on America that is separate from the Great Tribulation and before the Rapture of the church? Say it can't happen? Look at what God allowed to happen to Israel in 70 AD. I am repenting now. I want a good future for my kids and grandkids. Psalms 37:19 "…in times of famine we will be satisfied."

We are sending a video email out every Friday. A short 5-7 minute video with some word and some updates. If you would like to be a part of this new ministry tool send me an email to david at revivalnow.org.

Also, check out one of our partner churches, Tabernacle of Praise Bedford Indiana's new website. http://topministriesonline.com. They are great friends of Revival Now.

Have a great week. Let the Fire fall!!!!
