Tuesday Thoughts

Pam and I drove to Boca Raton Florida for weekend services with Revival Life Church and Pastors Carl & Tracey Thomas.  We have been blessed to be involved with that house since it’s inception. They are a group of radical revivalists that are changing the way you think of and do church in South Florida. Since March, they have experienced a visitation from the Lord. Sunday evening I visited with my sister in Deltona Florida then on Monday with my Mom in Deland. It’s good when you can have some drama free time with family! I didn’t get to see everyone I wanted to because of a commitment later Monday afternoon I had to keep.

I can’t stop thinking about this changing of the guard we are seeing take place on the Body of Christ. My heart still grieves for the Arnold Sanders family as another great General has gone to his reward. Please continue to pray for this family in the days to come. Everyone else will get back to their lives, but their grief will remain for a long time to come. Praying for peace for the Sanders family.

It has also put a determination in me to finish my race with character, integrity and with joy. So many of God’s people have traded the joy of the Lord for the bitter offended spirit that is prevailing in every segment of our society. Instead of judging people for what they are not, be the example of a true believer. Let your life speak for itself. Don’t let the critical spirit of the world infect you so much you can’t see any good in any body…or in any church. 1 Timothy 4:12 Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. NKJV

Only home two days this week till we travel to Shreveport Louisiana for a conference beginning Friday night. Then Pam and I are off to Nicaragua next Sunday May 26.
