David Copeland July 10, 2012 10:14 am

We began services on Sunday at the Warriors For Christ Gathering Place in Birmingham Alabama with Pastors Tim & Becky Jenkins. Each service the Presence of the Lord has swept over the service bringing forgiveness, healing, restoration and encouragement to all present.

Yesterday morning after read the Word, as I was just beginning to pray, something shifted in the Spirit. It was so profound it startled me. Then again last night the Holy Spirit moved even stronger than He did on Sunday.

We are definitely in a battle for our minds! I have drastically scaled back my viewing of the news, simply because from the media’s point of view, what’s the use of even trying. Politicians, unions and lobbyists have their own agenda; money and power and they don’t’ seem to care who they hurt to get what they want.

I’ve been saying it for two years; we are going to have to somewhat disconnect ourselves from the media because many are losing their victory and joy because of the doom, the gloom and the fear that is the news.

Remember, we are citizens of another country, with a city whose builder and maker is God. He will never be defeated, get sick or die. He always will be from everlasting to everlasting.

6 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
All other translations leave out a very important word: also

I don’t think it’s an accident Isaiah (or KJV translators) insert the also here; it changes the whole scope/understanding of what is going on!

Isaiah saw the wickedness, the perversion, the injustices, the drunkenness, the rebellion, the falsely or wickedly accusing God…miss-representing God 5:18,19

Isaiah saw people calling evil good and good evil; saying light is really darkness and darkness is really light…bitter is sweet and sweet is really bitter…vs. 20, 21

Then in the year King Uzziah died I saw ALSO the Lord…..

In spite of the wickedness…rebellion of mankind…war and rumor of war…the injustices, the insecurities that seem to prevail on every hand…if we will look higher…we will see the Lord!

We cannot deny we are living in wicked times! Reading this is like reading the headlines in a major newspaper from any capital city, from anywhere in the world!

Yes, there will come an end! Proverbs 23:18 Surely there is an end…and thine expectation shall not be cut off!

There will be an anti-christ and a one world government. Sooner or later vials of God’s wrath will be poured out on the rebellion of mankind!

In fact the Catholic Church is even calling for a one world money system: http://www.foxnews.com/world/2011/10/24/vatican-calls-for-new-world-economic-order/?intcmp=trending
In spite of all the wickedness we see; in spite of our own failures (I know of all too well)…in spite of the fear that is (and has always seemed to run our world)…. if we will look above all that…changing our focus…God is higher…holier…hotter than all our sin and the wickedness and the failures of this world!

Just as God gave Isaiah grace in a grace-less time, how much more will He give us grace and mercy in this season of grace and mercy, if we will simply acknowledge our own wickedness (and repent) and not focus on the wickedness of others?
