The Kingdom of God

We are back in Pattison Texas this weekend for another great time with our family at New Life Beginnings Church with Pastors Brad and Ann Marie Morgan. This church means so much to Pam and I as they were one of the first churches to really believe in what God has called us to do and embraced us as one of theirs almost five years ago. It's good when God gives you people who believe in you when no one else will!
While I was in Guyana, God began to speak to me again about the Kingdom. We hear a lot about the Kingdom, but I wonder sometimes is it really God's Kingdom we are talking about, or is it about our own denominations, churches or ministries "kingdom" we are really promoting?

All this year the Lord has been showing me His focus is bringing us back to His Kingdom. Not our ambition of doing something for Him. Not building a name for ourselves so people will finally see we are truly of worth to the Body. I feel like I can truly say that is not why I am doing what I am doing.

My "kingdom" will disappear when I die. I have no sons to carry on my name (if you knew the Copeland reputation you would thank God!)

But will people say of me, David Copeland was more interested in what God wanted than anything elseā€¦? I certainly hope so!
