Thanksgiving Tuesday Thoughts

David Copeland November 26, 2013 5:23 pm

As we gather with family this week to begin the Holiday Season, my heart is heavy for those who have lost loved one’s this year to death. While many will be happy gatherings, there are many, many of our friends that this season will NOT be happy.

I am thinking today of one of our partners who just last Sunday lost his wife to cancer. I am thinking of my pastor friends who this year has lost a child, lost a wife and one who lost his parents.

There are others who have been faithful to God and to His Word and their marriage still fell apart. Some were voted out of a ministry they established and sacrificed everything to lead for many years. Others have lost their jobs, their homes and are looking at this season with great fear of what is coming next.

I pray that the peace of God that passes all understanding will keep your hearts and minds by Jesus Christ throughout this Holiday season. May His great Love overwhelm us to reach out to someone who may be walking through the darkest hour of their lives. May the Light of Jesus shine through you to prove to the world, it’s not about snatching that Black Friday shopping deal before someone else does; it’s about being the Church Jesus died to establish.

Pam and I love you all. We are extremely grateful and thankful for all our partners and the churches world wide who help us touch the nations with the fire of revival; helping us be a bridge in the nations, for the denominations, to the generations.

Happy Thanksgiving!
