Revival News

During the last month we have see a great increase in responses to the altar calls all across the U.S. In April, we were privileged to travel to Port Kaituma, Guyana, the village that borders the old Jim Jones property. All who have heard of Jim Jones know he lead over 900 people in a mass suicide over 26 years ago that has been a great blight on Pentecostal Christianity to this day.

Well over 200 hungry men, women, and children responded to those altar calls we gave over 3 days of outdoor crusades. That's certainly small in number compared to what bigger ministries are seeing, nevertheless it's 200 less the devil has today! To God Be The Glory!!

In the U.S. we have been honored to be in some very hungry churches in the month of May. Eufaula, Alabama, Grand Ridge, Florida, Midland City, Alabama, Bedford, Indiana are areas that are seeing a move of God's Spirit.

I wrote in a recent ministry newsletter three simple points the Holy Spirit dropped in my heart last fall that to this day continue to ring in my spirit as I ponder His working in this hour:

1. God sees the need for revival in America.
As Solomon dedicated the Temple, God spoke the immortal words: "…now My eyes are open and My ears are listening to the prayer that is made in this place…" (2 Chronicles 7:15.)

2.There is a hunger in people's hearts for a genuine move of God. The law of hunger and thirst is still in force: "Blessed is the man who hungers and thirsts after righteousness; he shall be filled." How hungry are you for a real encounter with God?

3. People are willing to go out of their way to be where God is manifesting Himself! As a pastor I criticized people for traveling great distances to be in revival services; until I became so hungry for God I thought I would die if He didn't touch me! I'm not looking just for another "emotional touch." I like many others are simply sick of what we have seen "church" become. We want the church to once again be the place of a genuine encounter with the Living God that will change us into His image!
