I cannot say thank you enough for the continued prayers and support of Revival Now Ministries.

Since returning from Kenya on August 29th, Pam and I had the opportunity to take a few days off which was absolutely needed. I didn’t realize how tired I was until I had a few days to simply do nothing but rest.

This week we began our fall revival schedule, which will take us up to our next trip to Kenya that begins November 29th. This week we were in Opp, Alabama at Westview Assembly of God with Philip and Jane Rayburn. The Presence of God brooded from the first note of the Homecoming Sunday Service to the last Amen on Wednesday night. Several people gave their life to the Lord and many, many others were encouraged and brought closer to God.

Wednesday night the altar was filled with children and young people praying and calling on the Lord. You can know the Holy Spirit is at work when young people and children respond to God. Acts 2:17 still says when the Lord’s Spirit is poured out the first responders the young men prophecying…I’m thinking God is preparing some young men and women to stand forward with a word from heaven that is going to shake this nation to it’s core…

Bring it on Jesus!

Wednesday September 14th I turned 50 year old. I (like so many others) have struggled with turning 50. Well, not so much turning 50 as much as the fact that I am more conscious of my own mortality than I’ve ever been before. In your twenties and thirties, in your mind, you are invincible. When you turn forty, you start recognizing aches and pains in places you didn’t know existed.

But the struggling has come from the fact that five different ministers I know from ages 50-55 have gone to heaven this year since January 1st. I have wondered if I wasn’t going to be next. I’m not saying that out of pity, not pride; I’m saying that because I know there is still much work to do and much territory to take for the Kingdom of God.

Be faithful friends to complete your assignment the Lord has called you to! Don’t settle for what religion can do for you; let’s go all the way with God so when our end come we can echo with Paul, I have fought a good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith!

If you are in the SE Tennessee Area this weekend, Pam and I will be in Graysville/Dayton Tennessee area at Unity Gospel Tabernacle with Pastors Douglas and Candice Graham. Services continue through Wednesday night at 7pm Eastern Time.

Next Friday through Sunday we will be in Lagrange, Georgia at First Assembly of God with Pastors Lane and Vicky Farley. Pam and I would love to see all our friends and partners in those areas.

May the fire of the Holy Ghost fall in your life this weekend!
