Rambling Thoughts November 9, 2010

Here's my ramblings for this week:

WOW! God WOWED! us at First Assembly of God in Rosenberg Texas Sunday and Monday. People were hungry, seeking God and Monday night there was a tremendous breakthrough in people's lives. At least two healings were testified of, and the spirit of intercession that fell during the Monday night service blessed everyone. While many would simply say "ho, hum…just another typical Pentecostal service…" yet we need this now more than ever before! God will move only in response to faith and prayer. 2 Chronicles 7:14. At least I need it.

Just completed a quick study of Galatians. It wasn't a complete word study, but I sure enjoyed it. The one thing that stood out to me as Paul is trying to reach people who are determined to go back to living under the law: why do we allow people to pressure us to live under a law they cannot keep? Just sayin.

Another thought from Galatians 4:18a (KJV) It is good to be zealously affected always in a good way… Zeal is not evil. Sometimes it just needs a little wisdom.

We have a ministry board meeting this week. I'm actually excited about it! That's crazy when you can get excited about a board meeting! Casting vision to some key leaders that I feel will chart the course for the next few years.

Pam and I both feel the call to the nations even stronger. God is stirring; are we willing?

Still amped about our Kenya trip coming November 30th – December 13th. If you would like to sow a seed to touch hungry lives with the Gospel, visit our website http://revivalnow.org/give. Safe and secure way to sow into Revival Now Ministries. Mark it Kenya and I'll put it in the right spot.

Glad the election is over. I'm thankful I live in a country in which I have the freedom to vote. Even when it doesn't always go my way. But our country still needs some heavy intercession. I pray that the Holy Spirit will grip our hearts until we find that place of solitude to cry out for America!

I'm writing this at 33,000 feet on a flight to ATL. They are giving me the look. Gotta go.

Hope you all have a great week!

Let the fire fall!!!
