Nicaragua Update

This week, I have traveled with a small team from Tennessee and North Carolina to Managua, Nicaragua to do some ministry with Samaritans International.

Samaritans International was birthed four years ago by businessman Perry Brown. Perry has operated a furniture business for many, many years in North Carolina and took his life savings and invested it in feeding children in developing countries.

In four years Samaritans has grown into a multi-faceted ministry with a Christian School, medical clinic, guest houses for housing teams that come, and feeding programs that are feeding over 40,000 children every day all across Nicaragua.

Samaritans is now being operated by his son Patrick, who we have known for many years. This week we have been conducting staff leadership training, visiting some of the feeding programs, and preaching in meetings at night.

On Monday night, at least ten were saved in a community that currently has no church. Tuesday and Wednesday, the Holy Spirit literally exploded in the services, with many filled with the Holy Spirit. Tuesday night, the altar was filled with people crying out to Jesus and at least one young couple who God showed me were on the verge of divorce, was touched by God and restored! Holy Ghost Fire is falling all over the world!!!!

Today is our last day of meetings and a service tonight, then travel back to the US on Friday.

Many have expressed an interest in doing a short-term missions trip, but cannot afford the expense of a trip to Africa. Nicaragua may be what you are looking for! And the harvest is truly ripe for harvest!

Pam and I are looking forward to services Saturday night and Sunday Morning at Heart of Worship Church in Lagrange Georgia with Pastor Steve Evans. Saturday night will be a combined service with Liberty Worship Center and my friend Pastor Chris Yarbrough. If you are in the East Alabama/West Georgia area, join us for either of these services.

May the Fire of the Holy Ghost fall in your lives this weekend!
