Monday Morning Thoughts

Last week was our first full week at home without preaching anywhere we have had since some time in January. I love traveling, doing the work of the Lord; but it was also good to get some of the clutter off my kitchen counter that collected during six months of traveling!

Here are some thoughts on my mind for this Monday morning:

Pentecost Sunday was off the chain in Lagrange Georgia yesterday! Pam and I had the honor of ministering at First Assembly in Lagrange with Pastors Lane and Vicky Farley. The faith and expectation level was through the roof! Many were touched by the power of God and I don’t know exactly how many received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit; but God was in the House!

I am working on a blog post about the meaning of Pentecost that is coming this week. I knew some of the purpose of Shavuot (Jewish name of the festival) but it connected with my spirit in a deeper way last week.

I am excited to be going back on TV in the Lagrange Georgia area. My friend Carey Carroll has purchased the TV station in Lagrange and asked for Revival Today to get back on the air. I only left TV because there were not enough hours in the day to get done all I had to do. It was simply impossible preaching 6 days a week, then traveling on Day 7…I feel a shift with us that God is maybe pulling us back somewhat to weekend meetings that will enable us to expand our media outreach. Prayers appreciated on this…

I have a meeting late this week with some key men in my life that I am excited about. As many of you know, several years ago we formed the Revival Now International Network of Ministries a group of individuals, ministries and churches that could come together contending for revival and renewal in America, as well as around the world.

In prayer a few weeks ago, God spoke to me to bring some people together to hear what He is saying to us about the network, Revival Now, the United States as well as the nations we are called to work in. Can’t wait to see what God is going to speak to us.

Pam and I are thankful for the friends, churches, prayers and financial support you give to Revival Now Ministries. If God is speaking to you to give, you can visit http://revivalnow.org/give. It is appreciated and will be used wisely.
