Monday Morning Revival Thoughts

Once again forgive me for my lack of posting here…I may have lost the last three readers I might have had…I thought January was going to be a slow month and that I would be able to get back to blogging on a regular basis, but I was dead wrong (in a good way); January turned out to be a phenomenal month of traveling and seeing God open a few new doors and we saw Him bless a lot of people!

Last week we had a powerful time at First Assembly of God in Lagrange Georgia with Pastors Lane and Vicki Farley. Many were filled with the Holy Spirit, one was delivered from demons, others were touched and refreshed by the power of God. And it's not wrong to be refreshed and renewed by the Holy Ghost!

I have watched off and on the happenings in Egypt over the last few weeks. It is a very tense time in the Middle East that is having reverberations around the world. The warfare between good and evil, God and satan is playing out right before our very eyes. What we don't know for certain and the prophets are silent is how it's really going to turn out.

I do know this, Islam is making major moves to infiltrate and completely take over nations and societies; first in the Middle East, secondly in the rest of the world. They are even making great strides at increasing their influence here in the United States. Now understand this: I DO NOT HATE MUSLIMS! But THEY HATE EVERYONE ELSE WHO IS NOT A MUSLIM! This religion is a powerful example of what happens when you refuse to forgive people for something that happened 1,000 years ago.

Several years ago the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, "…the time has come for everything you have ever learned about spiritual warfare be implemented in your life…" There is a coming war that is (already) and will be a religious war. But the fight we are to fight will not be with weapons and bombs and guns; the weapons of our warfare are mighty through God and through prayer.

Psalms 11 says "…if the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?" There is an all out assault on Bible believing Christianity. It's in every country of the world. The failures of high profile ministries have not helped. While there is an increasing pressure throughout our society and throughout the world to obliterate Christianity's influence in an increasing secular world, I also believe the best days for the Church of Jesus Christ are ahead; because the BIBLE still declares, where sin abounds, grace does much more abound.

You need to know why do you believe what you believe! Do you believe what you believe because your church believes/teaches this? because mom and dad taught you this? Or do you believe what the Bible says? Do you believe it IS our guide book? If you don't believe the Bible, you are going to be greatly deceived in the coming days. It has already started in our churches in America.

Many people accuse Bible believing Christians of being bigoted and narrow minded. I may be narrow minded, but I am NOT bigoted! But I would rather believe the Bible and live according to it's writings and come to the end and find out I was wrong, than reject Him (Jesus) and come to the end and find out it's true.

It takes much more faith to believe in evolution that it does to believe in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Yesterday we experienced one of the greatest services Pam and I have been in since the last time we were at New Life Beginnings Church in Pattison. New Life Christian Center in Opelika Alabama with Pastors Auzzie and Cheryl Comer literally exploded with Holy Ghost power! The Spirit was moving so strong no one wanted to leave! And we didn't leave till after 2:30pm Central Time. Something shifted once again yesterday morning. I felt it as I walked into the service. Then Sis. Comer got up to greet the people and began prophecying of a shift and a turn…..

I know the Holy Spirit is moving all across America and around the world. But as a resident of East Alabama, I want to see the churches in our area reach the level of anointing and MATURITY that God wants us to walk in.

If we don't move with God, He will move on without us.

I will be in Nicaragua till Thursday visiting with Patrick and Christy Brown and Samaritan International. They are feeding almost 50,000 children a day in Nicaragua. Patrick received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit on a trip with me to Guyana several years ago. It's going to be good to renew our friendship and spend some time also with Carl Thomas from The Mission Delray.

I am thankful for all the great men and women of God He has put into my life. Many of them are people who are flying under the radar, but they are doing a tremendous work for the Kingdom of God!

If you see an explosion in the southern sky. Me, Carl and Patrick have blown up with Holy Ghost Fire!
