Kilgoris Youth Conference Update

This week of meetings at the Kilgoris Youth Conference has been off the chain…and somewhat of a blur.

Each session has been charged with an unusual Presence of the Lord. Until you see 300 plus Maasai young people dance before the Lord, you haven’t been to church. Many in the west would be appalled at their dancing; but when you understand many of these young people come from broken, abandoned or orphaned homes and you see them dance and jump with great joy, it humbles your heart. Their faces beam with such joy, you would think they have a million dollars in the bank.

We have taken the last three days in the conference to deal with questions and answers. As I read some of the questions posed to us I thought, these are not teenagers, they are asking adult questions!

Our Kilgoris Crusade began Wednesday afternoon and continues until Sunday afternoon. So far we have over 50 confirmed decisions for Christ. When you look out over a crowd of over 1000 people gathered in the center of town and someone comes forward to accept Jesus, it gives you a better understanding of Jesus’ words to take up the cross and follow Him. Giving your life to Jesus in a “safe” church atmosphere is one thing; but when you boldly walk forward to accept Jesus Christ with muslims looking on, that commitment takes on a whole new meaning.

I am so proud of the group of young adults we have here from Alabama. They have represented their Lord and their home church Cross Connection Auburn Alabama with honor and integrity, and have been used by God in a mighty way to strengthen the youth in this area. Thank you Pastor Jon Russell and the C3 Family for equipping these young people to be world changers.

Today is the last day of the youth conference and on Sunday we will disburse into various churches in the area for Sunday services before the team begins their long journey home on Monday.

I have one more crusade to preach next week in Shartuka, a village about 7 miles east of Kilgoris. Shartuka holds a special place in Pam’s heart and mine as that was one of the first places we ministered in when we first came to Kenya. Please pray for me for continued strength and for safety for the team as they travel back to the States.

I cannot thank you enough for your prayers and financial support. I know without a doubt God has opened the doors very wide for us to minister in Kenya for this season. The whole Body of Christ around the world is experiencing the birth pains of the end times. Many complain to me on a regular basis about me spending so much time in other nations when the United States is in such need at this hour.

We would be happy to come to your church or town for a revival meeting, Sunday services or a special missions outreach. Revival Now Ministries continues to minister all across the United States because we believe God is setting us up for the next Great Awakening.

The Great Commission doesn’t apply to the United States alone: the Great Commission is a COMMAND to go to the WHOLE WORLD.

Thank you for helping us fulfill our mandate of that Great Commission.
