Kilgoris Pastors Training Day Two

David Copeland August 3, 2011 3:22 pm

We have just completed Day Two of our August Kilgoris Pastors Training. Today, Andrew Peters and I both took two sessions each; one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Andrew is teaching the Gospel of John and I am teaching The Fruit of The Spirit.

The anointing kept building and building this afternoon; I actually quit on time at 5pm. As we began to close though, the Holy Spirit moved in with a spirit of intercession and literally hung over the place of about an hour. After some intense worship, a holy reverence sat on the meeting. No one could move; and no one wanted to leave.

Words cannot explain what you see and feel in an atmosphere charged with hunger and faith. Yes, sometimes miracles happen. Other times an unexplainable God encounter takes place that cannot be expressed in words. Because I am teaching or facilitating the meeting, I can’t always take photos or video to capture these sacred moments. Maybe God wants it that way. It simply reinforces my faith and confidence that we are flowing in the area God has called us to for this season. And that is such wonderful peace!

So many things God has dropped in my spirit over the last several days. One that stands out is this: until your revelation passes through the furnace of experience, all you may have is a good idea.

I love it when God reveals something fresh to my spirit! But I have also found out, if it is a true revelation from God it will be tested and tried, to be applied to your life. Psalms 18:30 says it this way “…the word of the Lord is tried…”

And once that revelation is tested by constantly applying it to our lives (especially through difficult circumstances), then it become more than an idea: it becomes a true rhema! Only that will truly produce the life of God inside us!

Thank you for your continued prayers. And thank you to all our partners who are helping us fulfill our assignment of the Great Commission!

Asante’ Sana!
