Headed Back to Kenya

As I write this I am in the air to Houston Texas to connect with Andrew Peters and our August trip to Kenya. This will be the longest trip yet without Pam; 34 days! I miss her already!

We arrive Wednesday night in Nairobi and immediately Thursday travel to Lodwar Turkanna to begin a crusade and Pastors Seminar with the local pastors fellowship of Lodwar and Share International.

We just completed another great weekend at New Life Beginnings Church in Pattison, Texas. The Glory of God filled both services and our first Night For Missions was a tremendous success! Thanks to our friends and partners who give so sacrificially to help us fulfill our part of the great commission!

Last week I was attacked again for spending so much time raising money to travel overseas. Once again, they didn’t realize the majority of our ministry is here in the United States, traveling to small remote areas preaching, teaching and seeing God’s Glory fall.

I know first hand how tight things are economically! But as citizens of heavenly country, our economy is not based of what the US dollar is doing, or on the price of oil from Saudi Arabia. Our economy is controlled and governed by the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is not broke, poor, sick or defeated! HIS Kingdom shall reign forever and forever!

I am constantly reminded that we are not the world’s policemen, nor are we the answer to every problem in the nations. But some of us ARE called to go to all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature…

Seems like I read somewhere that a man named Jesus uttered those very same words…

In the words of a great solder of the cross that has passed on to his reward, I’m grateful that the whole world is my parish!

Stayed tuned for updates from Kenya!
