Happy Thanksgiving!
As we all (in the US) head to our families for Thanksgiving, I want to take a moment to give thanks to the Lord for a few things:
First I want to thank the Lord for my salvation first and foremost! Had He not reached down His hand for me when I was a 14-year-old boy and began dealing with me to give my life to Him, I would not know the joy He has given me over these last 30 years!
Secondly I want to give God praise for my wife Pam. She is the best friend I have on this earth and I mean it when I say, I love her more today than I did 27 years ago when I first laid eyes on her!
Next, I want to give God praise for my two beautiful daughters and their families. I don't know why God gave me these girls because I know, I didn't deserve them. Even know that they are grown, they continue to bring me great joy and happiness as I see them serve God and fulfill their destiny to be on this earth! I thank God for their husbands that are servants of the Lord too! God didn't give me son-in-laws; He gave me the two sons I never had!
I thank God for my two precious grandchildren! I have pictures does anyone want to see? They are going to be mightily used by God to prophecy and to preach the Gospel! Madison can already preach louder then me!
I want to thank God for the opportunity to serve Him in ministry for almost 30 years! In February we will celebrate our 29th year of Gospel Ministry! I thank Him for allowing us to see a fresh hunger, a fresh passion, as well as the greatest move of His Spirit this year we have seen in 28 years! If I were God, I wouldn't have called me to preach! But He did, and for that, I am very grateful!
I want to thank Him for all our partners, all the pastors, and all the professionals He has given to us as friends! Thank you partners for believing in us to support us financially and prayerfully; thank you pastors for trusting us enough to open your pulpits to us; thank you to all the professionals who support us with tools to do this Gospel ministry here in the U.S. as well as around the world! Without you all we cannot do what we do for God! And you will have a great reward when you stand before God for believing in us!
I want to thank Him for our partnership with World Harvest Missions Outreach in Lake Worth Florida. I thank God for Miriam and Ed Frederick for both their friendship and for allowing us to work with them in Guyana. I can't wait to get back to the jungle and eat corned beef hash riding through the jungle in the middle of the night…. you have to do this one time to understand what this is like:))
I thank God for Phil and Kathy Teague who have become great friends as well as vital ministry partners of Revival Now Ministries; their help this year both at WRNK as well as in Guyana has been invaluable to Pam and I!
And I thank God for all the new friends He has given us over the Internet this year! Our blog ministry has grown and God has given us friendships literally all over the world!
I know I am leaving something and someone out. Please don't get offended if I didn't mention you by name! But Pam and I love you all! And we know…we are what and who we are because of God first…. then because of you!
Thank You Jesus for great things you have done and will do in 2007!
Happy Thanksgiving!
