Happy New Year!

David Copeland January 2, 2011 7:39 am

It's again hard to believe, but here we are at the beginning of a brand new year!

I love new things. I love new cars. I love new clothes. I love going to new places I have never been before. I especially love new beginnings!

I am also glad God loves a new beginning. It's His love, grace and mercy that draws a line in the sand and says let the old pass away, and let there come new. We see it in the Mosaic law. We see it in the Resurrection of Jesus. We see it in Revelations 21. And we see it every January 1st. A new beginning.

God in His grace and mercy has given us 12 brand new months, 365 brand new days, 8,760 brand new hours, and 31, 536,000 brand new seconds. What a God we serve!

2010 was the greatest year in the history of Revival Now Ministries, and 2011 is already shaping up to be even greater. I know it sounds like a broken record, but the best IS yet to come!

In 2010 we had some of our greatest struggles; we experienced some of the greatest attacks against our bodies; we suffered some great losses in our family; but we also experienced some of the greatest victories! Thousands were saved, filled with the Spirit and touched with revival fire. We have over 50 pastors registered in our new ministry the Maasai Vocational Training Center in Kilgoris Kenya. We gave altar calls in which literally thousands responded to the call. But in spite of all the success we had in 2010, I need a new beginning!

But for us to enjoy a new year with a new beginning we need to look at a couple of things:

First a new beginning needs a new mindset. Paul said it this way:

Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Phillipians 3:13,14

This is the perfect time to forgive, let go, renounce, bury everything you have been carrying in your heart toward people or situations that have done nothing more than hold you down. Let. It. Go.

Secondly, a new year and a new beginning needs a new determination. Satan is not going to lie down or run and hide because it's a new year. While every new level brings a new devil, I want to say every New Year brings a New Anointing to defeat every devil and smash every obstacle that would hinder your forward progress in God! Determine no matter how many times you fail; Get. Back. Up.

Lastly, a new year needs a new concentration. Sharpen your focus. It takes approximately 21 days to birth a new habit. The best way to break a bad habit is to focus on establishing a new one. A Godly habit or discipline. That starts with a new focus, a new concentration on your relationship with Jesus.

In this New Year we are focusing a greater attention on the nations. God is opening some massive doors for us in Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Indonesia, Nicaragua and many others.

We are determined to expand our presence with social media (Facebook, Twitter, You Tube), websites and Internet Evangelism. We are receiving some wonderful reports on how our Friday Fire Video Email is blessing people all over the world.

We are almost finished with a new booklet we will give away to new converts titled Welcome To Jesus. This booklet will be translated into Swahili, Spanish, and maybe a couple of other languages. We are working on loading our Absalom Book into the Kindle format for easier downloading from Amazon.com. We are also working on our second book that will be titled Breaking The Power of Disqualification. We will also continue to travel across the United States, working to see revival come to our own country.

All of this is impossible without friends, pastors and partners like you. Everyone receiving this newsletter could give at least $10.00 per month for World Evangelism. That's the price of a cheap meal at McDonalds. You may have some Credit Card Reward Points you could donate, or Frequent Flyer miles that would help purchase an airplane ticket.

All of you can pray.

And whatever God tells you to do, we will be very thankful.
Thank you for your support!
