December 2011 Final Kenya Report

David Copeland December 13, 2011 6:29 am

We have now completed our final outreach in Kenya for 2011. Once again, it has truly been a phenomenal year for Revival Now Ministries. I am sitting in London’s Heathrow Airport thinking about what I have seen this year and can hardly type for the tears running down my face.

The Jesus Victors Maasai Conference in Lolgorian ended with the rain of the Holy Spirit falling as well as the natural rain from heaven falling. Almost 3,000 people crying out to Jesus for the rain of the Holy Spirit to fall is something you will never forget. Many received healing and everyone received encouragement.

Our December session of the Maasai Vocational Training saw over 80 pastors from all across Kenya register for the two-week event. On Saturday December 10th we graduated the first eleven pastors that began with us in April 2010. Needless to say there were a lot of tears and a lot of joy!

We have received emails and phone calls from Uganda, Tanzania and Botswana that people from those countries are coming to Kilgoris for the pastors training in 2012. God is giving us expansion there and we give Him all the Glory!

Last Wednesday I sensed the Holy Spirit speak to my heart the following words: The shift is on! But a shift can also bring with it a sifting of relationships, current purpose as well as current direction. (I’m still chewing on what this means for me!)

All the beach goers will understand this: every time a wave crashes into the shoreline and you ride it in, you must quickly reposition yourself, place and prepare yourself for the next wave that will come in.

Those who fail to allow the Holy Spirit to shift as well as sift will find themselves bitter and disappointed in the coming days. BE FLEXIBLE I HEAR THE SPIRIT SAYING! Again, failure to do so will bring a lot of disappointment, bitterness as well as some needless warfare.

Thank you to all our friends and partners for your prayers and financial support. I am so thankful you are in our lives at this season of time. In spite of all our challenges, we are moving forward continuing to do our part to establish His Kingdom.

2012 is shaping up to be another year of expansion for Revival Now Ministries. We have at least four Kenya trips planned as well as some trips to Nicaragua. Others doors around the world are wide open for us also, but it takes resources we currently don’t have. We are making every effort in the challenging economic times to be a good steward of the seed you have entrusted us with.

If you would like to sow a special year-end gift for our 2012 ministry it would be greatly appreciated! If you cannot sow an offering, would you consider praying for us? Pray for God to continue to grant us favor across the Maasai Land in Kenya, across the United States (where we desperately need revival), and in those countries God wants us to expand to. We are hearing the cry from the nations to come over and help! Be we can only go when the finances are there to go with.

Thank you for being obedient to do what the Holy Spirit leads you to do!

Merry Christmas!
