Bob Bangkok

We had a meeting today with Bob Bangkok in Thailand and discussed his work in S.E. Asia. God is really using him in the printing and distribution of Bibles in China. There has been a fallacy promoted that China doesn't need any more Bibles. His group alone has been responsible for the printing and distribution of almost 400,000 Bibles in China in the last year alone!

But when you consider that there are an estimated 100 million Christians in China, and even if there has been 40 million Bibles printed and distributed (as some report) there are still 60 million short!

Bob Bangkok also told us there there are still un-reached areas in China where people have never heard the Gospel. In a remote area of the Sichuan province he was doing some work in a village in which he asked a man had he ever heard of Jesus Christ. The man's reply was "…is that some kind of candy?"

This lets me know there is still much work to be done! Another fallacy the American church has promoted is if we (America) don't do it it won't get done. But in China now, there are more Korean believers working the harvest than any other national group! That is thrilling to me! We must do our part in fulfilling the Great Commission! But the Great Commission is not for the U.S. to do alone:

It's for the entire Body of Christ world wide to do!

And we are.

Here am I, send me!
