What a great start to 2010!

We began our new year in Opelika Alabama at Beauregard Revival Center. Pastors Johnny and Jean Hamby are dear friends of our and Beauregard Church is one of our most faithful church partners. This congregation is very dear to our heart as they were the very first church to begin supporting us monthly over 8 years ago.

I also want to say a big thank you Jesus to all the people and churches that are participating in fasting and prayer during the beginning of this year. The number seems to have grown from last year according to reports I am receiving.

While some may use fasting to try to impress or cut a deal with God to show Him their spirituality, I believe the main focus 99% of the people I know have is a desperation to touch God, crucify this flesh man and to get in a position with God so we can be used by Him in the coming days.

Anything you give up or do with the motive of getting closer to God, he will honor!
