A New Season!

The reason I talk and write about this so often is God has called us as believers to understand the times & seasons we are in. And to be reminded He is the God of all hope.

Spring is my absolute favorite time of the year. Pam loves the Fall season as the weather cools, the leaves change, and the realization that we won’t see any more 100-degree days…until next Summer. But for me, Spring is my favorite season.

It’s no accident God chose Spring to be the season in which Jesus would die for our sins and rise from the dead. Spring and the resurrection of flowers, grass & trees all screams Jesus is alive with Resurrection Power!

Everywhere Pam and I travel to in the world there is an abundance of people who have lost hope. Marriages are in trouble, sickness is attacking physically, and emotionally people are being pushed to the limit. Terrorism is affecting every nation on the earth. As all these things collide, a people’s hope seems to be taking a beating.
I am very glad that our Father is STILL the God of ALL hope!

David echoed many people’s plight when he penned the words,
“Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God;
For I shall yet praise Him,
The help of my countenance and my God.” Psalms 43:5 NKJV

Sadly many cannot receive fresh hope in God and the message of a new season because of several reasons:

1.Many don’t like the package the message comes in;
2.Sometimes a new season will require of us some things we are not willing to give;
3.The hurt and pain of the present season is blocking them from receiving;
4.The culture of unbelief has been so ingrained people find it impossible to believe God really wants to bless them and restore their hope.

But this Resurrection is not for simply one day that we remember and go back to our “normal” lives. I believe God wants to give us a lifestyle of Resurrection. Jesus is the Resurrection and the life. He lives in us; therefore He wants us to be Resurrection in others lives.

Every single thing God does for you He does it to make YOU the answer to someone’s prayer and a miracle in someone’s life! Let us seize this season of a new beginning and pour ourselves out to a world that is crying out for Jesus to be more than a fictitious character that is spoken about on Christmas and Easter.

Because He is NOT a fictitious character, He is alive and is coming again as King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
Don’t allow the overlap of symptoms of the previous season keep you from embracing the hope of the new season.

Happy Resurrection!

Ministry Update
April 13th I will depart again for Kenya East Africa for our 2015 Kilgoris Women’s Conference as well as the April Session of the Revival Now School of Ministry. We are expanding our ministry trips there in 2015 and we need your help to accomplish our part of the Great Commission. We are planning to add a School of Ministry to Lodwar in Northern Kenya sometime this year as well as an outreach to Tanzania, Homa Bay and possibly Malava in NW Kenya.

Your giving is very appreciated to help us fulfill our part of the Great Commission!

Many Blessings of The Resurrection Season,
David & Pam
