Resurrection Weekend
Saturday. As I ponder this day on this particular weekend, my thoughts go to "wonder what Jesus was doing on Saturday?"
I know the Bible says (or at least infers) He went and preached to those in prison (hell); but as I ponder the power and the place this weekend holds for the Body of Christ, I pray for every preacher of the Gospel that their resurrection celebrations all across the world will be filled with the same resurrection power that raised our big Brother from the dead!
May dead churches live again! May spiritually dead saints live again! May dead preachers live again! May dead marriages live again! May dead hopes and dreams and dead anointings live again by the power of our Living God!!!!

Never gave much thought to Bad Saturday. Probably was preaching to those souls in prison. I wonder if that is a scriptural precedant for Saturday church services? rj-import_files/icon_wink.gif

In my opinion, every day is a great day to have church!!!!
One preacher told me though, it’s ok to have church on Saturdays except when Alabama and Auburn play football…..and we wonder why we are in the shape we are in!

Amen! Although in these parts fans of my alma mater say God’s not only a football fan, but a Penn State fan– why else are the skies blue and white?
