October 4 Weekend Update

One of the great truths that have been lost since the Council of Nicaea in 325 is the Jewish-ness of Christianity. John Hagee recently said, “Christianity would not exist if it were not for Judaism. “

This is not to say we should go back and live under the sacrifices of the Law; Jesus fulfilled ever point of the Law and it’s His sacrifice on Calvary that makes us white as snow in God’s sight!

Many fail to realize that on the New Earth all nations will keep the Feats of Tabernacles. And those who fail to take part will experience the chastisement of the Lord. (Zechariah 14:16-21)

We are now passing through the last of God’s appointed seasons of the Feasts for this year. It’s during the appointed seasons of God that we can gain a heightened awareness of the working of the Spirit of God in our lives. Drawing near to Him in faith, confessing sin and rededicating ourselves to walk with Him in Spirit and in truth. For the Father is seeking those kinds of hearts to worship Him. (John 4:23,24)

This weekend as we pass through Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, take some time to thank God for the Blood of His Son. Renounce any and every sin that has held you captive. Refuse to allow fear and unbelief to rule your hearts and minds in this hour in which war, Ebola and fear of the future control men’s hearts. Call out for His Holy Spirit to appropriate the forgiveness, mercy and grace that the Blood of Jesus supplies.

And thank Him we don’t have to drag a goat or a cow into church on Sunday morning!

This week I have been privileged to be able to attend and share about Revival Now’s call to the nations at the Revision Conference in Scottsboro Alabama sponsored by The Well Family Worship Center with Pastor Greg Devries. Something very distinct and special happened in my heart, as well as in my body. As I write this, Pam and I are on our way to Rosenberg Texas for some ministry time at First Assembly of God with Pastor Deborah Prihoda. If you are in the SE Texas area, we would love to have you join us Sunday 10:30am & 6pm; Monday 7pm Central Time.

Thank you to all our friends and partners who help Pam and I fulfill our part of the Great Commission. To all who have sent special gifts this month, they have been greatly needed and definitely appreciated. We pray for a double portion return on your seed sown to help us reach the nations.
