November 2014 Kenya Update

David Copeland November 5, 2014 8:43 am

We have just completed the 3rd Annual Kilgoris Fire Conference in Kilgoris Kenya. More than 30 churches from many different denominational backgrounds came together for a week of teaching, preaching, intercession, impartation and outreach. I want to thank our team members Angie Stone, Beth McDonald, Ed Hinson, Jerry Noblitt, Ikem Grigsby, Stephen Brown and Tim Williams for all their hard work in the conference & crusade. Special thanks to Tim Williams and Healing Hands Ministries for leading part of our team in ministry at the Naisero Orphanage. It was a very successful week indeed!

Hundreds of people responded to the altar call for salvation each day during the afternoon Crusade. Ikem Grigsby from Denham Springs, Louisiana ministered in the afternoon meetings and God used him to break strongholds and draw people into a fresh level of God’s Presence. Many people testified of healing in their bodies, and several experienced supernatural deliverance. Each morning session and the evening revival services saw God pour out His Spirit on hungry & thirsty hearts.

Friday afternoon on the crusade grounds, Holy Spirit visited me in a unique and unusual way. The only way I can describe it is He gave me a re-commissioning to Kenya, and the nations of the world. I can see new churches springing up all across Kenya and the nations of East Africa. I can see young men and young women finding their purpose and understanding God’s plan for their lives; without having to wait until they are 50 to find it. I saw old men and old women taking the mantle of responsibility to teach and train the coming generations about the love of God and how to move in the power of the Holy Spirit.

I saw Angels and Chariots of Fire all along the hills surrounding Kilgoris and I heard the still small voice of my Father asking me “…can these bones live?” With those words came a release of faith in my heart for the right answer. I knew the answer was and is YES! And I also know He is calling Pam and I to be a part of it.

Thank you to all the friends & partners of Revival Now Ministries who planted a special seed for this meeting. To everyone who helped the various members of our team with a special offering to help cover their expenses of traveling with Revival Now to Kenya, I want to say thank you. The people of Transmara & SW Kenya thank you. The people who came from across Kenya and Tanzania thank you. And when you stand before God on your day of judgment you will see what your gift accomplished.

December 8-13 we will host our last Maasai Vocational Training for 2014. In April 2015 we will change our pastors training in Kilgoris to the Revival Now School of Ministry. This will better reflect the fact that this small outreach has grown to include all 42 tribes of Kenya as well as the surrounding nations of Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda.

In June we will travel to Tanzania for an Interdenominational Maasai Conference that will bring together churches and ministries from all across Southern Kenya and Northern Tanzania. You prayers and your financial gifts are greatly appreciated as we continue to follow God in our part of the Great Commission in 2015.
