March Weekend Update
It sounds monotonous, but God continues to blow my doors off!
This weekend in Wytheville Virginia at Jackson Chapel Church of God of Prophecy, the Glory of God hovered over the congregation in both services! An alcoholic gave his life to Jesus as many reported receiving healings in their bodies last night. To God be all the Glory!
My heart continues to be somewhat grieved that some are not receiving from the Lord. I am also troubled that maybe we are not going far enough! We settle for a touch when God wants to give us a breakthrough! We settle for relief, when God wants to give us a resurrection!
I just don't want to settle for anything less than God's Glory covering the earth, like the waters cover the sea!
I read a blog from a pastor last week (can't remember where) that had a tremendous move of the Spirit in his church many years ago. In the post he stated he had to make a decision after several months of continuous services whether to be a revival center or a local church. While I understand what he was saying from his perspective of retaining the harvest he had received, I also am wondering if what Steve Hill said has more truth than we want to admit: "the reason we don't see more wide spread revival in America is Americans are by and large content to live without it!"
Just something to ponder.

ITs not a good reason to stop going to church,…But its the main reason I stopped going. When I openly discussed revival, I got that “oh boy, here he goes again” feeling from the ones I talked to. Nobody seemed really interested, maybe I didn’t use the right words or something.
I dont know David, maybe Im just crazy,…

Rodney,
When you feel like you are a lone voice, read the prophets of the Old Testament and take courage from the Word of God that was spoken through them.
“Take my brethren the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. Behold, we count them happy which endure…..”
(James 5:1011).
Rodney, please go back to church someplace. Use tact, and begin to pray for that church’s leadership.

Rodney, I know where you are at…but as Chet said, don’t stop going to church! Keep looking for a place that is hungry for a move of God’s power! And read Number 14:27. It’s going to happen!

If your church doesn’t want what revival brings then start working with the youth! They are too young to be religious.
David – Can you post your itinerary for the next couple weeks?
